  1. once they are formatted

    they are gone.

very hard to put pics back on camera.

go to yahoo search and research it.

  2. That really depends on how your camera formats the card.

A "full format" blanks the whole card and there's absolutely no way of getting your pictures back.

A "quick format" just blanks the file allocation table, and you should be able to recover the pictures using special software, provided you don't do ANYTHING else with the card, i.e. DON'T take any more pictures.

Google file recovery software, data recovery software, unformat software. Something like this may be suitable:

As for viewing images from your PC, these may not be in a format the camera supports. The camera may only allow you to view images taken with that camera, not other images.

  3. You can't view images from your pc on your camera unless they are still on the camera.  The idea is to move images from the camera to the PC and then format the camera card for taking more pictures.

It is possible to set up the camera as a drive and move files or images to the camera from the PC, but am not sure how that would work. Have never done that, but you could find something in the camera instructions that would help you.  That could work.

Check out the source link which is about cleaning camera and battery contacts.  It has really made my camera work better.
