I need help ASAP! please !

i have 2 hamsters both winter whites one male one female, we have been trying to breed for a while but nothing happened but tonight she fell over and from her 'lady parts' theres a white kinda lump thing thats coming out, its tiny now but im sure its coming out i think it could be a baby, do you know what it could be, do you agree its a baby? please help i have tanks for the babies (when they're older) and a special place for her to give birth but i dont know what to do now please respond :D

  1. it's not a baby. the white thing you are referring to is probably just a tail.

    small rodent babies are pink/red when they come out, not white.


  2. ok just calm down you may need to take her to a vet for them to check that out it could be somthing bad, but maybe good and i doubt its a baby. but im not always right, quikly see a docter!!!

  3. well its prbably something called a plug. i think most rodents get them just after they breed my rat got them so i think thats what it is

  4. Its a sperm plug cause from the male mating with her. She will be pregnant for about 23 days before she gives birth. Now you have to seperate her and the male because he will try to over breed her and cause here to become stressed and possible sick which may result in the death of her and of course the babies.

    You should really read up on hamster breeding because practically every website on the subject talks about the sperm plug.
