As the baby boomer generation reaches retirement age, what products might become more important? What new products might need to be developed to suit this group?

Look around. Think what would help make someones' life a bit easier.

It needn't be only for boomers;blind folks, folks with multiple sclerosis,the list is endless!

As the baby-boomer generation retires there is going to be an influx of capital into the financial services market.  This creates a need for new financial service products to funnel their private pension money into.  Much of this money will be paid out in lump sums as early retirement benefits.  Retirees will need products that help their money grow for a certain period of time and then distribute the money to them.  

They also need long term care insurance.

We are healthier, wealthier and more involved then previous generations,.
