  1. go to a snowboard shop.

  2. It depends on what kind of riding you do, if you are a general rider that rides basically all mountain... you want a 157 to 163, reason being is that it is still versatile as you advance in snowboarding.  A 158 would be a good size board for you cause it is small enough to maneuver easily while at the same time still allowing enough stability to make the turns you need to.  I would suggest something with a narrow sidecut if you have smaller feet, and want a more responsive board.  If you have bigger feet, you should get a toe cant plate for your bindings and ride a wider stance (20-22 inches) Ride and Burton make some of the best boards for general mountain purposes well into advanced.  For maximum comfort and a general all around boot....I suggest Thirty-Two's, they are heat moldable and well worth the money spent.  Bindings with the toe capstraps are also probably going to be your best bet for fit and in general best experience....Good luck and happy riding!!  Remember...the boots and bindings can make or break your experience...play with your stance to get comfortable :)

  3. Somewhere between a 157 and 159 depending on your shoe size, and style of riding you plan on doing. Check out the calculator below and it will help you out.
