I need help for yahoo answers?

how do i get more people to answer my questions on yahoo answers???

If you just want information, ask a question, I do it all the time, and I usually get an answer that I need.

If you want lots of answers, ask a provocative question or give a provocative answer.

And if you want fame, and don't carry a big schtick.

Search elsewhere.

Ask questions instead of giving opinions.  Ask good questions.  Some categories are not visited that often by people.   Sometimes it depends on the time of day you ask, depending on the subject.

I have just started on yahoo answers. I tend to answer questions that grab my attention. Try to make the question not too long, because many people do not like to read things that are loooooong, (like me). hope i helped =]

The amount of answers you get really varies.  Sometimes I've gotten a lot of answers, one time I only got two.

One suggestion would be to ask during busy times of the day - It seems like around 5:00pm a lot of people are on the Yahoo! Answers site.

Ask good questions, phrased correctly and give enough information.  I find a lot of questions do not really give enough details.
