I need help in pokemon diamond....?

Okay so Im not the best at Pokemon I don't hack or any of that SMART geek stuff but i want to know how to find out my id number and were to get it please tell with detail thanks a lot for who ever answers this Question!!!!!!!

go to the basement of a pokemon center after having 2 pokemon caught (starter and a random one caught if early in game) and the lady will call you over and give you a pal pad... the pal pad is where you register frwinds and where your freind code (id number) is located... to get your friend code she will ask you to connect to wifi and do so.  then it will disconnect you after connecting and you will then look in your pal pad (key item pocket) and go to "name's" friend code and there it is

to get your id number use wifi in the pokemon center on the bottom floor

if your talking about a friend code go to the bottom of a pokemon center and talk to one of the  girls

go to menu and click on ur name..............and u will see a trainer card of yours, in that card look carefully u gonna find it.........
