Ok, so my batteries in my remote were dead. So I went out and bought new ones... but they weren't working... so I tried to re program my remote... and me being stupid can't figure out how to do it. So this is what it says... ( I don't have the manual it says it on the back of the remote)
1.To program turn on TV
2. Press remote device key and select key until device key turns on.
3. Press channel key until light turns off.
4. Test by pressing mute key. If device turns on, press device key to store code. If code is passed , press channel - key until device turns on.
Am I supposed to hold the channel key on number 3, or just keep pressing it? I've tried both ways and I can't figure out how to do it.
Could it be the batteries?
