What was the flaw in the bell curve teaching system when they would base you of the highest persons score in the class and the lowest got and F so like if every one in the class got 96% and only one got like 95% would it just be unfair of what??? i'm confused i got asked this question thanks for your answers by the way

Because there always runs the possibility of a super smart person in the class that would flaw the whole thing.  That's super sucky for everybody when there is a genius in the class.

the person in the class got an A and the lowest got an F. if the high grade was a 96 then that was a 100 and the low grade was a 95 then that would be an F.it would be unfair because the differnce of that one point could ruiin someones grade and destry what classes they are eligeble to take. it is unfair that the difference from and A to and F is one point.

When teachers "grade on the curve" (it's a grading method, not a teaching system) it means that most people will get an average grade, some will get an A and some will fail.  There are several problems with this method.  First of all, what if all of the students are actually doing super well in this class?  Then they should all get high grades, maybe everyone should actually get an A.  No one should fail in this case, but someone will.   What if they are all just being lazy and not learning anything?   Then they should all get low grades and no one should get an A.  In the case of one or a few very low or very high grades, the curve will be skewed in that direction, which disadvantages those at the other end of the curve.   The advantage of grading on the curve is that if the teacher is testing things that were not actually taught in the course, -because he was too careless about his lectures, or explained things poorly; then grading on the curve will avoid penalizing the entire class.
