I need help with fleas?

i have a horrendace flea problem.............they r so bad. we got flea bombs that well do friday and weve gotten them b4 and flea spray gave dog a bath everthing now we got a kitten and there even worse. what do i do like how do i do it do i cleaqn everything and bomb and sray? i need help!!

I have found that cutting up flea collars and putting them in your bed, couch where ever you have fleas bugging you helps.  Also place a chunk in your vacuum cleaner bag to kill any buggers that get sucked up as vacuuming down as much as possible helps to.  

I have also seen sticky nightlights that you can plug in that attracted the bugs and then catch them.

it hasn't been that long since we were in that same position.  first off get the flea bombs from the vet.  the otc ones don't work at all.  there is a type of flea bomb that the vet sells that kills all the stages of the flea and keeps killing for several months after that.they also have sprays and all kinds of things that work to keep fleas off of your pets. after you get things under control make sure that your pets are Frontlined according to the directions.  fleas are difficult to get rid of but it is possible.  also watch for signs of tape worm in your pets after the fleas are gone.  these are caused by swallowing live fleas.  but the good news is, those are alot easier to treat.  good luck.  you will need it!!!

the bath- first off, just keep hold of their scruff and they will not hurt you, but dont strangle it.  my cat is 5 and still have claws, and he doesnt bother me when i give him a bath now, because i dont hurt him.

the fleas- obviously get flea medicine, NOT the kind that you buy in a walmart or something, get it from the vet or pet meds or something.  also, dont buy the shampoo from a walmart, buy it from the vet! after you treat your cat, then bug bomb your house, and vacuum REALLY good, go slow with the vacuum...

take the pets to the vets and drop them off to get dipped while your bomb the h**l out of the house. Then just make sure you continue treating them so that the fleas don't come back

Drop your pets off at the vet's office to be given a Capstar and then place them on a flea preventative like Frontline.

A Capstar will kill the fleas on them now, and Frontline will keep them off and control the reproduction and eggs.

While they are at the vet's office, bomb the house.

A week or two later, take them to a friend's house and bomb your house again to kill any left in your carpet.

If you don't put your pets on a flea preventative it will never work. The life cycle of a flea is too complex to kill them with bombing only. If you bomb your house but don't use medications for your pets, the eggs and fleas on them will continue to multiply.
