I need help with my horse?

my horse has what looks like fly bites all over his chest and stomac i dont know what to do im useing really expencive silver spray to keep t he flys off and everything i got it from a vet but the bites keep getting worse and hes itching himself like crazy bitting himself to stop the itch i put bactine to stop infection and everything and iv been giving him regular baths now but nothing works hes starting to hurt himself when he itches now and i just dont know what to put on him to stop it the flys arnt bad at all cause of all the fly traps i have up for him there are ants around but not to many and there little so i dont think they could get that high on him so help how do i stop him from bitting his itch and rubbing on things ?

Avon skin so soft is a GREAT repellent I would recommend rotating fly sprays every month. Swat has a roll on/salve that works well and are great around wounds so you can use it on the areas he is having issues. You can also look into buying a fly sheet.
