I need help with my xbox360?

Question

I am having problems with my xbox 360!!! I was playing my xbox when the picture went fuzzy and went off...I tried it in t.v mode and it worked but when i tried again all i had was sound, and i tried it in hdtv mode and still there's no picture and sound. I bought a new tv cable but i still got the same problem. Can anyone help me with this!!! Thank you!

if it has 3 red lights on the power button, take a shower towel, wrap the 360 with it, and power it on,

the point is to overheat it, leave it for about 5 mins then after turning it off, leave for about 10 mins witout power plugged in
