  1. buy something useful, like flip flops, bath robes or loofahs... soaps, handwash, lemme know if you need more ideas.  they key is to give something people can actually use... figurines are sooooo boring.

  2. if you want to be creative you can make Minnie/Mickey cookies....using Pillsbury rolls of sugar premade cookie dough and royal icing.  Cut the rolls into rounds.  place a full round on the cookie sheet, place a 1/2 round flat side next to the full round, and then another 1/2 round 1/4 turn around the full round.  repeat leaving several inched between  each  set of full and 2 1/2 round.  It may not appear exactly like a Minnie/Mickey mouse head...but trust me, when it is finished baking it will.  Then all you need is some royal icing, some small baggie or some store bought icing tubes, and you can decorate them accordingly.

If you are really creative, you can use a cookie round to make 2 Minnie bows (baked & decorated seperately and attached with royal icing)

Use clear wrap and tie at the top.  Your guests will love them.

  3. Mickey mouse ears for everybody.

  4. Check out your local dollar and discount stores.  They have Mickey and Minnie Mouse themed bath gel, liquid hand soap, sometimes wash cloths, pens, pencils, note pads, mouse shaped post its, baby wipes and hair accessories.

  5. that's a tough one because infants can't really appreciate a party so it becomes more about the adults.

  6. Well all of the previous ideas are great! If you do goodie bags and can't find mickey or minnie then just get solid red ones, and tie it with a red and white poka dot bow. You could do a lot of red and white stuff to match. I like the idea about flip flops. You can get red or white (cheap) flip flops at the dollar store for adults and kids. Then get some red and white poka dot material, and tear it up into strips. Cut or tear these strips into about 4 or 5 inch pieces, and tie them in double knots around the flip flop straps. Keep adding strips until the entire strap is full. It takes a little while, but they turn out really cute. Hope this helps. Have fun with it!!!

  7. Be sure you take a video!  I have a movie of MY first birthday, that we showed at each of my daughters' first birthdays, and, now, at the first birthday party for each of my grandkids! ...   The Disney store has a website, if you can't find things anywhere else, but maybe you can find Mickey/Minnie pens and pencils, notepads, stationery, lip balms, keychains, magnets for the adults...and stick a few little cheeses into their "goodie" bags (like the baby gouda, or laughing cow, or string cheese) - (cheese for mice? )  You could actually just use brown paper sacks for adults; fold the tops down and punch 2 holes across; loop some raffia in the holes and tie a bow....    Depending on the ages of the kids, those things would be ok for them too.  If they're really little, you can get tippy or plastic cups, or baby silverware with Mickey & Minnie.    ...
