I need identification of a pill!?

Question

I need to know how to figure out what this pill is. It is oblong, brown and has "P 009" on it.

I would also like to know what exactly do the numbers on prescription drugs mean??

i couldn't get a match on p 009 but here is a web site that might be helpful.  if you check oblong and brown you should get a narrowed match...

go to www.drugs.com and go to pil identifier . it should be somewhere uo top. that should help a lot good luck
