  1. I think you should do a Jeporady game of what they learned in 5th Grade.

  2. Kids this age LOVE getting dirty!

    Game 1-

Place a piece of bubble gum on a paper plate. Cover it in whipped cream.

The first kid to locate the gum, chew it up and blow it into a bubble wins. (try doing this game in batches so the kids can cheer eachother on).

    3-legged race

You know how to do this! Just bandanas, legs, ample room to run, a staring line and a finish line!

    Jump rope contest

Ropes cost $1 at your local dollar store, or you can call around to thrift shops and see what they have. You'll need a couple of adults to judge, but it's simple and wears the kids out.

    Pictionary

Get a big easel and a dry erase board, OR some poster boards (1 per team) and tack them up and markers. Let the teams choose the person who's drawing. Then, all you have to do is show the drawer a word (like sock) and have him draw while the other kids scream their guesses.

Riddles are good for kids, but if they're too difficult, they'll give up and get bored. Try giving them print outs to do, like crosswords or finding things that don't belong in the picture.

Send them on a scavenger hunt (in teams) using riddles that if solved will help them find the next area.

Give em waterguns and let them have at it while scores are tallied,

  3. if you have a game system, pick a racing game or something and they can compete...whoever gets the best score wins

  4. One of the funnest games I have ever witnessed or participated in...

If is outside or in a somewhat large space, use a stick, baseball bat, or something about waist high.

Each team (boys v. girls) lines up. The first person in each line must place their head on the "stick", spin around 8 (or any # of )  times, and race to a point straight out (usually 30 ft. or so), and race back, and the next person in line takes their turn. They are so dizzy, they swerve, giggle, fall over, run in to each other, etc.. Whichever team finishes first wins!

Talk about hilarious!!!! You will have sore cheek muscles from laughing!!

    Have fun, Lori

  5. Here are some Ideas:

    -Truth or Dare

    -Wheel Of Fortune

    -Hangman

    -Do a Quizshow

    Hope this helps!
