I need some help with History??

i need to find out a list of reason why women failed to gain the right to vote between 1900 to 1914 and a detailed explanation to go with the reason please if anyone could help xx

1915 is a better date to end at, since that was when President Wilson attempted to pass a bill giving women the right to vote.  Since this required a constitutional amendment, there was difficulty getting the required number of states to agree, so this took until 1920.

There is no one specific reason per se, other than to say that women of that period were still viewed very much as children.  It was believed (still) that they were incapable of making mature and reasonable decisions.  A classic example of this can be found in the short Ibsen's book, "A Dolls House."

A slightly off note but relevant, the surgical procedure to remove a woman's reproductive system (Hysterectomy) is so named because it was believed to calm women down and make them more reasonable and less hysterical.
