I need some help with iPods?

Recently my iPod's buttons stopped working. I can't change the song or access the menu. However, when I plug it into my iHome, it works. I've already checked and it's not locked. What's wrong with it?

Have you tried refreshing it?  You can do that by pressing the middle and menu button. Make sure you hold it till you see the apple insignia.  Still doesn't work? hook it up to the computer and press "restet to factory settings" and it will erase all of your music on your ipod and set it to its origanal settings
