  1. I just take a warm washrag because my cats won't get anywhere near a bathtub.  I'd prefer not to get clawed trying, and I don't want to pay for a grooming parlor.  You could buy some pet shampoo from the pet store (Human shampoo is bad for pets!) if you really want them to get sudsy and clean and lather that into the washrag and then rinse them with another one.

  2. um take him to the vet to be washed they could  do it without scaring him not saying you cant buut cats are always scared of water so i think its whats best for him to be tooken to the vet plus its less work for you...?

  3. my nana has like a million cats (most are home less just went for the food)she had kittens and put the sink low and stuck them under the water so just stick it under the sink or if its way to scared of actual water then ether get a towel put warm water on it and wash your cat or you can buy some baby wips and just wipe it down but your best chance is to put on some water by it and throw it across the water like you can use your hose and chase it around give it a try.

  4. Can you take him to a grooming parlour? They are professionals and know how to deal with ancy cats.

Plus he may need his fur to be trimmed if it isn't clean.

  5. i know this might sound really weird but my moms friend whould put her cat in a crate and just hose him down =)

  6. well try to take a warm washclothes and squeeze it to get so water will drizzle on the cat while doing this say good kitty this will help your kitty do it a couple times

  7. try using those waterless shampoos...they great... you jus gotta spray on your cat (some sort of foam) and work it in... it takes the dirt away!!! then you jus wipe it dry with a soft cloth... they smell gorgeous after a waterless bath!!

  8. they have hypoallergenic wipes for that also makes the cat smell good  thats what i use

  9. well they do have wipes for kittens which i use basically as a between bathing solution...but sometimes...kitty jus needs a full out bath....what i actually learned with my kitten is that..she isnt totally afraid of the water itself...she HATES the SOUND of running water tho...i tried runnin the water with her with me b4...she FLIPPED..the next time i tried it where i ran the water 1ST...then brought her in with me....dont give them a chance to notice what youre tryin to put them in or they will freak...run the water 1st...then take kitty and put them straight into the water...once theyre in ...they tend to realize its not so bad...jus dont make the water too deep...they dont like to feel submerged...and u may have to hold them in...my kitty didnt squirm or try to get away as long as i had a hand on her back for reassurance...but that hand comes off...she wants out..lol...its always worth a try

  10. It sounds to me like you need to relax your cat so he is not scared to get into the bath.

Cat-nip is going to be your secret weapon.  It acts like a MILD sedative.  I know, your cat at first acts wild and crazy acting right after you introduce the cat nip, but shortly after your cat will be VERY relaxed (kind of like he is on Valium) so that is the time to put him in the bath.  Just go slow.  Remember to make it a pleasant experience and in the future he won't be so alarmed when you put him in.

    Good luck to you!
