Actually if paying, get Norton 2008. As to free, I have heard avast 4.8 or AVG are suppose to be good.

norton internet security 2007 or 2005 with add on pack. heavy but worth it.

According to my experiences, AVG will definately be the best. There is a free version to download wich will give you free virus and spyware protection. The link is www.avg.com

there are also full verisons available.

Try either Avast or AVG. I am sure you can get free antivirus there

One of the best free security programmes i have used recently is AVAST (www.avast.com) seriously good piece of kit especially for free.

I would usually also recommend AVG but the new update has screwed alot of people over including myself.
