I own 30 rats?

and i think 5 of them have tumors

should i kill them?

Why do you own 30 rats when they will eventually get respiratory problems and tumors in the future? Rats can easily get tumors and you should have known that, unless you didn't research. 5 rats, that isn't that bad, its not like all the rats are infected. Bring your rats to the vet, if you love them. How are you going to kill them at home, that's animal cruelty. So if you don't take them to the vets for a check up, don't even think about getting more or keeping them. Its up to you.

ummmm no. i'd say if you can't pay for medical care turn them over to the aspca. they will take care of them however they need to be taken care of.

Cool.  I had 300 at one time.  Are you sure they are tumors?  One of mine had a "cow bug" once.  You could see it move around inside the infected area.  We squeezed it out into the sink and squished it.  It was nasty.

Take them to the vet and have them checked.  There's no telling if it's a cow bug or a tumor.  (I can't remember the real name for the bug but the fly lays eggs in the cow's heel and it lavae travels to the spine to mutate)  Gross, I know.

Check them out with the vet, then make your decision.

why dont you take them to a vet and let them decide what would be best for them, also to confirm that these are really tumors, and if they will do any harm to them or affect their quality of life.  dont kill them just yet.....

30 FREAKIN RATS!? Thats alot if you ask me but take them to the vet if he wont help put them down:C
