  1. only the songs that are checked will go on ur iPod.

  2. I'm not sure if i'm understanding your question correctly, but if you plug your ipod into your computer to sync it, a message should pop up telling you that you have some songs on your ipod that aren't on your itunes library. you should have the option to put them onto your library no matter if your ipod is an older version. sorry, if i misunderstood your question.

  3. can't be done sorry

  4. I don't understand your problem.

Your iTunes library should remain the same when you put songs onto your iPod.

    Do your songs delete?

  5. You can plug the iPod into the computer and set it to manually manage your songs/items on the iPod. If you have the latest version of iTunes you just need to plug the iPod in and when the menu for it comes up, select "manually manage music and videos" or something similar to that (I have an iPod video) and also check "enable disk use". That should let you remove songs from the nano without removing them from the library.

  6. That isn't possible...

  7. 1. In iTunes you can uncheck the checkmarks, on the left, on the songs you don't want to have on your iPod. This option will also prevent the songs from playing while using iTunes to play music.

    2. In the iTunes window, after your iPod is connected to the computer, uncheck the automatically sync option. After that you are free to manage your music however you so chose, which means you can select your iPod from the list on the left, select the music header and modify your song selection. With this option you will have to manually drag and drop the songs you want on your iPod.

    Sorry about the length.
