I really need math help?

Question

Draw and mark a figure in which M is the midpoint of ST, SP = PT, and T is the midpoint of PQ....

On this problem, I can't understand how to draw this shape. It doesn't make sense. Please if you know the answer at least tell me how to understand. Thanks...

ps...on ST and PQ their is supposed to have a line above the letters. I hope this helps.

Take it a step at a time.  Start by drawing segment ST.  Mark M as the midpoint.  Now - if SP = PT, then the point P must be equidistant from points S and T.  If you think about it, that means that if points P, S and T were the vertices of a triangle, you'd have an isosceles triangle.  It also means that point P would be on the perpendicular bisector of segment ST.  So pick a point that fits and label it P.  Once you have it, you'll need a Q.  Since T is the midpoint of PQ, just draw a segment from P to T and continue the same distance on the other side.  That will be point Q.  You'll end up with two segments:  ST, with M as the midpoint, and PQ, which will run through T and for which T will be the midpoint as well.
