Why people have puberty

Been there done that every month but does any one know the significants of puberty(I know i spelled it wrong)

if u didn't go through puberty, how would u have kids

To create life.

Since I am female I would say to torture us all. I'm sure once I have kids I'll think it's a blessing to have a menstrual cycle and be able to carry life and so on and so on. Then he grows up and talks back and it's torture again. ;)
