If you haven't talked to him and directly asked him the question do so immediately!  And if you're still very concerned definitely take him to the doctor to be checked out.  If the doctor notices something like that, they can help you go from there.  I would be hesitant to encourage following him around, but I guess if that were my child and I was very concerned, I would do whatever I had to do to figure out what was going on.  Good luck.

It could also be a bully, but not necessarily rape. Older kids may be beating him up. I am really sorry as it must be very hard for you and it can have a serious effect on your son's emotions. I would definitely get the cops involved, and I think it is totally reasonable for you to follow him from school! You're his mother and he needs help! i would ask. but 9 times out of 10 they won't tell you. so do some dective work and try and get to the bottom of it. ask around somebody could've seen or heard something you never know.

Follow him home from school. It might not be rape, its most likely just these little ******* (other kids) that are ****** up and beat other kids. If its rape...then the rapist needs to get raped by the law.

being late from school and coming home with bruises does not necessarily mean that he was raped. but there is definitely something going on.  he might get bullied at school by other kids and they might beat him up. he might also be late because he hides from those kids.  have you talked to his teaches about this?  keep an eye on him and don;t be too quick to assume the worst but I'm glad you are being careful.   good luck!

Ask him! Communicate with him!  Make him trust you!  Therapy is a great idea, but if it isn't working, you could try asking the ppl he's with at school (teachers & students) if you want.  Call the cops if you find out (from him or somebody else) that he's been raped.  I think that it's totally sick that someone would do that, but it's definitely possible.  Pick him up from school everyday if it's not too much trouble.  And if this keeps going on, transfer him to a diff school.

That is so awful!  I hope you can resolve this issue with this bully that has been bothering your son.

First i'd speak to the teachers and ask if they have noticed any weird behaviour.

If he is getting bullied they should tell you.

I don't think you should expect the worst straight up (rape) as someone else above said, it could just be bullying.

Personally i'd pick him up from school, spend some extra time with him and maybe he'll let you know.

talk to him in a calm matter, meaning whatever he says is o.k. and you love him.. If something did happen alot of time they say these predators threaten the family so he may feel scared for his family to tell you.  When it comes to your kids safety you do WHATEVER you have to do.  Following is a good idea, and talking to him.  Like I said though he may be too ashamed or scared to tell you, so take whatever measures you have to take.  Maybe you feel you are invading is privacy, if you follow him but itsn't it  much worse if his privacy is invaded and is life is threatened  my someone much worse? did you ask him what is wrong? I would bring this up to his school principal so they can keep an eye on him. Is he walking home from school? Did you ask him what was going on. I mean, just ask, "are you being bullied, has something happened to you that I should know about?" Don't be freaked out (I know this is tough to do if you think someone is hurting your child), just explain to him that you want to help, and no matter what has happened, no matter if someone has threatened him NOT to tell, the best thing to do is let you know, so you can help him. Tell him that you know that he is exceptionally brave by trying to handle whatever problem he has by himself, but you are there for him and will do ANYTHING to help him! no......get the cops in NOW! something's wrong I'm not so sure if he's being raped where are the bruises...is he fighting? who knows but go to the authorities and the school admin asap!
