once it's big enough, let it out. it'll stick around and visit.  often keeping one in side as a pet  they go way wild when the hormones hit.

True, it is a wild animal, but its also a baby and it has more time to get used to humans.. I have a friend who caught an adult squirel and named him Jasper. Even as an adult it got used to humans and acted like a loyal dog to my friend and his family. It later got out when they left the door open, but it was a loyal pet!
