  1. i play volleyball, i like it.. and i consider myself i quick learner when it comes to sport.

usually at summer we stop the volleyball practice, so this summer i was bored and i decided to join for football (soccer) and i did, i already knew the rules, no problem there, but i never played football before and for that, i made a huge fool of myself  on the tryout day.. but i made it as the team was short of players.

now i play football next to volleyball, i like it, its fun and i'm glad i tried out for it.

now if you really never played football before, i strongly recommend that you get a ball and practice with someone, pass and receive or even against a wall,

the hardest thing i found was receiving high passes :S.. work on that a bit, and fitness is a whole different issue.

you need tons of practice to finally play it right, but you need at least a week to get pass the embarrassing tryout day.

  2. the only way to find out is to try out. soccer is one of the most fun sports so u should definetley try it!

  3. Well first off it is very good that you are athletic and can pick things up easily, so give it a shot you may be surprised but you might want to practice a few days or weeks before you actually try out. Secondly if you don't make it don't be discouraged go to your neighborhood leaque and play intermurals there you'll learn alot play alot and chances are be one of the better ones on your team which will give you a confidence boost and then you can try out the following year and watch the girls mouths drop as you do a trick! Good luck to yeah and remember to keep trying

  4. well, if you put your mind to it, and have confidence and try your very best then that's what will count. Make sure you go outside everyday practicing, and call a friend to help practice with you [maybe someone who has done soccer before], and just have fun with it. If you don't make it this year, don'tw orry about it, because there is always next time, and you can just stick to vball!

  5. Well you might want to learn the rules and stuff before you tryout but there's nothing to lose if you tryout. Who knows you might even make the team. Just remeber there's nothing to lose and everything to win. So just try out.
