  1. I, personally, have never had my nose pierced, but I do have the cartilage on my ear pierced, and I imagine it must be similar.

First of all, of course it will hurt. Every piercing hurts. If you have ever had your ears pierced, it is like that, but just a little bit more painful, since you are piercing cartilage. But, no fears, it will be worth it if you are willing to endure that little pain. It won't last long, a minute or two. But it also depends on your level of pain tolerance. I have a high level. I've had my lower ears pierced twice, my cartilage on the left side, and my bellybutton done. The cartilage was the worst, and I didn't even feel my bellybutton.  I love how they look.

First, you need to do research though. Ask yourself some questions. Are your current piercings (if you have any) sensitive to any materials (nickel, stainless steal?)  Which piercing shop is the cleanest? What tools do they use?

You need to make sure that you get thorough answers. Call around to several shops and ask them. The shop should have a body piercing license (which means no cheap ear piercing places in the local mall.)

You should start out with a stud, but not one that is too small, as it may go through your nose, but also not too big of one, so it won't get caught on your hair or something.

I don't mean to scare you, because it isn't really all that bad, just giving you the facts. I hope I helped :)

  2. Yes, piercing noise is VERY painful....... for your ears..

  3. my mate got it dont

    hurt a bit

    not much though

    dont stress

if they hurt that bad a tenth of the female population wouldnt be getting them done :)

  4. it might pinch for a second but as long as you dont have a ultra low pain tolerance you should be fine. my sis got her nose periced as she was fine the pain didnt last long and you can use ice to numb your nose

  5. Its just a quick pinch.

    Doesnt hurt at all.

    Gettttt it.

  6. Depends on your pain tolerance. :)

The lady at the tattoo shop that did mine did it too high (which was my fault because they make a mark and ask if it looks good to me) and it bled for forever. Had to take it out and have it re done. The second time (a different lady) did it and I barely felt anything. It was sore, but it was more so of a dull pain as opposed to something stinging or burning. I've survived and I'm a huge baby when it comes to pain!! If you psych yourself out- you'll be more focused on the pain. Relax and take a breath. If your really worried about the pain take a tylenol or motrinminutestues beforehand. A lot of places are claiming to do nose piercings now and they are lacking the right 'tools'. Go to a professional at a Tattoo/Piercing Shop to have it done.

    Good luck!

    I hope this helped!

  7. actually, i did it at homw by myself, if you put ice on it for about a min, its basically painfree, but it might be different for you

  8. well im sure that it doesnt feel good, but if you want it then you should just suck it up and get it. after all, the pain is only temporary.

  9. I'm not gonna lie, yes it hurts, just like any other piercing, but it's not bad at all! You are going to probably tear up a little, but it's just a quick moment of pain, then the pain is gone! It will probably be infected for a little while, though. It's not agonizing pain or anything, just like a quick hard pinch on the arm or something.

  10. it might hurt cause obviously your piercing a body part but its tolerable. its like getting your ear cartilage pierced. it looks good after though =]
