i want to see the character actually performing those special attacks. what i mean is it's usually character disappears then you see nothing but sparks or lightnings or stuff and then blood spurts out and then baddie is dead... which sucks...

for example, think fighting scenes of roronoa zoro from one piece and compare it to the sanji the cook's... zoro's fights usually all talking and threathening and ends up with two or three attacks and those attacks are just like how i described above. while you see actually martial moves with sanji he jumps on them and you see all the animation while he is in the air and kicking. there's continuity. zoro's fight nothing but special effects show.

  1. While its not Bloody at all Revolutionairy Girl Utena is a show about Sword Duelist.  It however is extremely Shojo so if you can't handle pink avoid it like the plague.  LOL It also that alot of plot twist and is quite the head case so you do find yourself having to really follow closely and think hard to figure out exactly what is going on.

  2. I realize I display my general ignorance with anime but I kinda liked the way things were done in samurai champloo

  3. It's been a while since I've seen it, but Rurouni Kenshin? And guys fight with sorts sometimes in Kyou Kara Maou, but not all that often (the point is not fighting/it's not a samurai anime).

  4. I just finished watching Jubei-chan, but it might be too childish for you. But it had swordfighting.

  5. the girl obove me was ok but inuyasha has moslt ofesse sword moves but bleach is the best for swords top top the top

  6. Try Inuyasha, Bleach or Samurai Champloo. They have sword fighting (and not the <attack, blood, death> kind of thing lol). Hope I helped -^^-

  7. Try Ninja Scroll, Vampire Hunter D and Nightwarriors.
