I want get a better education?

I'm 28 and a single mom wit 5 kids and one on the way. I droped out of school at 16 but I want to go back. I want a better education so my babies can have a better life and so I can make more money for my family. It's very hard being a single mother and I thought if I made more money that my babies would be happy. But I have no idea how to further my education, I live in the ghetto and most no one has very good education but I want to be someone one day. Help, I don't know how to go back to school and still have time with my babies.

First you must get your GED (if you do not already have it). Then, decide what you want to do. What is your passion? Second visit your local employment office and inquire about "The WIA Program". It provides financial support to elgible participants for a two year degree. Visit several local community colleges and talk to some advisors. They will be able to answer any questions you may have. You should qualify the full pell grant and any other grants or scholarships that your school of choice offers. Maybe start with online classes (most colleges offer those), this would allow you to stay at home with your kids and get started with your education. Don't forget: PRAY,PRAY,PRAY and beleive in yourself. It might not be easy but you can accomplish whatever you set your mind to.  Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!
