I want to build a website without having to donload or sign up for free trials. Any help? or links to online and free building sites.

hi! i have a website of my own, www.freewebs.com/forfigureskaters.  Making a website is very easy.  One way to make a completely free site is by going to freewebs.com.  After creating the site, when building it, you can get help FROM the site. It is really great.  Good luck!

Start building one with Microsoft Office Live Small Business, a free service - http://tinyurl.com/officelive . It has a free design tool that allows you to create web pages without coding. It has no ads and has 500mb of web space. MS is giving a free domain name for the 1st year.

You should learn HTML and optionally PHP, Javascript, CSS, and MySQL. That's the best way.
