With an animal rescue program or something to do with children.

I've tried to volunteer @ my local Spca but you have to be 16 :/ Eventhough I could be there during the day they still said no -_-' & I do babysit but I wanna do more than that..

& My family can not be part of the Foster Child program since we were recently involved with child's aid [dont ask]

Any suggestions on how I can get involved & help save animals? Or have an impact on a child's life. :/

* I live in Hamilton, on if that helps.

I found this website on youth volunteering in Hamilton, On.

It has information on where to look and a volunteer position search engine that lists age needed to volunteer.

Hope this helps.  Thanx for considering volunteering, it is a benefit to your community!

  3. The SPCA would certainly appreciate supplies for their animals!  Perhaps you could start a drive to collect food, blankets, toys, etc. for the shelter.  And as for the kids, have you considered tutoring or a Big Brother/Big Sister program?  We also have a local Voluntary Action Center that always appreciates volunteers.  There are many opportunities - keep searching!
