I want to get pregnant?

Question

I have been on Yazmin birth control pills since I was 17, and I am now 24 years old. I have always been very good about taking them, and have never had a scare about being pregnant. But now I want to get pregnant and Im wondering how long off the pills will it take me? Has anyone else used Yazmin know how long after they got off it takes to get pregnant?

Everyone is different.  For me, I was also on the pill for a very long time.  When I went off, my cycles were about 60 days rather than 30, which I understand is pretty common with coming off the pill.  So you can still get pregnant right away, but you maybe have half the opportunity and have to wait an extra month or so before your next opportunity comes along.  My cycle never regulated, but I did get pregnant.  Got off the pill in early August (2004), had a period then the end of September, then end of November.  Got pregnant mid-January (guess that was about 45 days at that point).  Letting your body 'clear itself out' of the pill for a couple/few months is never a bad idea either.

I was on BC for about the same amount of time and got pregnant within a month of stopping.  The 3rd baby I had skipped 2 days and got pregnant.  So every body is different, it could go either way.  Good luck :)
