  1. NYU is expensive and not worth it...the same teachers teach at my school and it is about 30,000 dollars less.

I don't know what the terms are for out of country.

You might have to take the SAT and ACT and maybe the SAT IIs.

    Try contacting admissions, NYU.edu

And if you never been to New York City it might be rather hard for you.

  2. The above person is right, there are plenty of great schools in NYC that are much more affordable than NYU. However if its what you really want to do then go for it.

NYU has a program where you can study there for up to 2 semesters (one year) and then go back to your UK university. Theres more info on it here:

    http://admissions.nyu.edu/applying.for.a...

This might be a better choice because it would be more affordable.

This is the cost of tuition for I believe one semester:

    Tuition and fees: $35,283

    Room/board:$11,780

    Quite crazy!

They are very selective about who they accept, so you would need to have very high grades.

E-mail the admissions for more information:

    admissions@nyu.edu

  3. Have you even looked at the website for NYU, that is a good starting place.

    - Tuition is $37,372 per year. This does not include living expenses.

    - Yes there a various residence halls at NYU.

    - You will need to take either the ACT or SAT tests for admission into NYU.
