If your having real trouble try downloading the openoffice version of it, it's basically Microsoft Office but free www.openoffice.org

You only need the installer CD (of whatever version of MS Office 2007) and follow the prompts. You can customize the installation process if you want, but if it's too much hassle it installs by default without further user interaction.

Also, there's no stand-alone installer for Excel. It comes with MS Office as a whole.

IF you want to install only MS EXCEL 2007

then insert the MS office 2007 CD

UN MARK ALL OTHER APPLICATIONS OTHER THAN MS EXCEL AND INSTALL.

If you don't have the MS Office CD then buy it OR ask your friends for it or search it on web.
