  1. I'm sure that would not be too big of a problem especially if your spouse is Canadian. Generally speaking, if you have a clean past, and you are a hard-working, contributing citizen there shouldn't be too many worries. But it may take a while. As for Ontario, thats a great choice. I have lived here my whole life and I love it. There is a lot of stuff to do, in both the urban and rural areas. For the person who wrote before me: there is all four seasons, have you ever even been to Ontario?

  2. you should be able to do so fairly easily (im canadian married to an american) you will still have to go through some kind of immigration process which can be trying and difficult in itself but as long as you dont have criminal record.. etc. immigragting shouldnt be too difficult.

  3. Why the h**l would you want to live in Ontario? Smog, pollution, hot humid summers and cold snowy winters. No spring or automn to speak of. It's a terrible place to live.

  4. What country are you living in presently, you didn't stay. You can visit and when you get there you can apply for permanent stay if your husband is a Canadian Citizen.

  5. You will need to be sponsored by your husband to immigrate here as a Permanent Resident. You can read more about the process here:

I suggest applying as outside spousal while remaining in Canada with your husband, if possible. Its a lot faster than inside spousal, and you will be allowed to visit the US if necessary, as opposed to inside spousal, where you cannot leave the country for 1 year+ while your application is in process. Outside spousal applications are being finalised in anywhere from 4-6 months right now. Expect the process to cost $1-2 k by the time you have your medical exams done, get the necessary photos and all the application fees.

The Canadian Immigration website can answer any further questions you may have. Good luck!!

  6. who knows?

  7. But there are a lot of bugs in Ontario......

You will have to be vetted like any other immigrant but as soon as you have your landed immigrant status, you have nearly all of the rights of a citizen.
