I'm only 17 so i can't do it yet, and I want to go to college first. I really want to travel all over the world, and I definitely want to live in europe or something when I'm older.

I either want to live in Italy or germany, or Israel because I have friends there that I don't get to see very often and I love the people and culture there.

I really like where I live now (so. cal) but I want to live other places during my life so I can see the world from different perspectives. I love learning about other cultures and experiencing them, and I'm already studying a bunch of languages.

Do you think I could ever do this? Because I really want to travel a lot.

  1. join the army..lol no but 4real it pays for school and you get to travel... i live in Hawaii right now and my sister is in germany

  2. At 17 years, I enlisted in the US Air Force. They sent me to San Antonio, Texas, but I was really too busy to enjoy the place. I next was stationed for school in Denver, Colorado for a year. I enjoyed my time there very much. My first duty station was Las Vegas, Nevada.

With the Air Force, I spent time in Thailand, the Phillipeans, Florida, one year in Turkey and three years in Germany. Local travel was great, and one month of paid leave per year made the enlistment wonderful.

With the knowledge and skills I had from the military, I worked in France, China and as a civilian onboard a Trident nuclear submarine.

You will have plenty of opportunities for travel in the future. You are the one who will choose your vehicle for that travel, but with a desire to see and learn like you have, there is no doubt that you will be well travelled.
