  1. take all the classes the are required to do the first 2 years, like health and speech and all that...then get ur main classes out of the way, that way u don't get screwed at the end because you didn't pass one, and you can fix it before your last year. then for the last 2 years you can spend it on classes you want to have like maybe art, or athletics....that is what I'm doing...

  2. hei! im a freshman too!

i got my homework assighnmet notebook thing and it came with this neat little planner it went like this-

    9th grade:

-talk to family and friends bout careers that intrest you

    -examine your strengths and weaknesses

-talk to career counsler about careers and courses

    -take an apitude test

-match your aptitude test to various careers

-talk to people in the careers that intrest you

-start a career portfolio(best essays, samples of your work, etc.)

i go to one of the top high schools in the country, if you want to know what to do in 10th, 11th, & 12th grade, email me, i have all the info next to me;)

  3. do your hw the day its assigned. do projects way in advance to avoid procrastination. don't cram, its not fun! best of all enjoy highschool. you'll get a good job even if you dont go to a top college, regardless of what everyone else says.

  4. Keep your gpa up, join a wide variety of clubs and activities, volunteer work. You can ever start studying for the psat test right now if you'd like. Your on the right track I wish you future success!
