I want to sing!?

So people say i can sing really good at my church! and there is this girl from my church that always sings at my church. and my dad plays the piano for her. so i always watch her practice. i really want to sing with her for this thanksgiving so how do i ask her? she is really nice but doesnt have the best voice! but i really still want to sing with her! how do i bring up the subject of us singing together! help?!?!?

Just ask... be confident.  The worst that can happen is that she'll reject you.  If this is the case, don't give up.  Keep trying.  Be outgoing, friendly and willing to work.  Show them you can do it.

Ask her if she would like to sing a duet with you.  then you two can pick a song together.

well if she doesn't have the best voice, when harmonizing (a duet) tell her you would like her to do the bottom voice as you do the top. please, as a vocalist, and who has a friend that is a vocal teacher-do not over power her-if you are singing a duet, learn to listen to e.o and blend. that's the key to true musicianship and vocalization. if you are in it for yourself, then go solo.
