I want to start boxing?

how do i start boxing im 16 almost 17. im short i need to know how much will it cost to box, to have a trainer to start tournaments an does it have boxing season like baseball?

There is no season.  You have a good plan, as you know you need a gym and trainer.  As to the cost, that varies sharply with where you are and which gym/trainer you choose.  You need to make contacts and shop around.  Don't go for the cheapest coach you find, as that may be one who just sees you as a punching bag for his fav fighter.  Ask how long it will take to get into tournaments.  Try it out for a while and make sure your coach is delivering on his promises.  If not, you can always switch.

boxing is an all yr. round sport.  if you go to your local gym, the trainer should be free...  and boxing is pritty cheap

hand wraps - 2$

USBA license - 50$ for a yr.

mouth peice - if y dont have, like 10-20$

gloves ect - should be provided at the gym
