If 4-5 bombs went off in India simultaneously (God forbid) just 2 or 3 weeks before the IPL, would the Aussies, Kiwis, the Poms, the South African etc still go to play in the IPL? Remember we're talking about big $$ here.

Plz serious answers only and no racist comments!

  1. LoLL...GREAT QUESTION ....LOLLL!!!!

Of course the A$$tralians would..Led by their captain..Do we question his integrity when it comes to money...remember who was the cheapest in IPL.?

Listen what GREAT GAVASKAR had to say:

EDIT: Remember also their DRUG CHEAT legend mommas boy SHAME WARN  and Jaipur after the bomb blast!

  2. Althought the players will go over there for just about anyhting when the amount of money present in the IPL, I think this would be a little too far.

The players of Australia, NZ, England and South Africa would probably see the common sense in not going due to the risk.

I could also see the logic in the ICC or ACB stepping in and either postponing the tournament or banning their own players from playing.

In the end it comes down to the ACB because the Australian contracts are in their hands.

  3. 4-5 bombs..maybe not, i think they would all leave.

If 1 bomb went off then maybe they would stay.

Shane Warne, Graeme Smith, Shane Watson were all planning to get on a plane back home after a few bombings, they were threatened that if they did leave they would have no furthur participation in the tournament (which basically meant no more money). The next match was held in the city of the recent bomb, they played there and i didn't see a lot of fear in their faces.

The thing is, if you flee India due to safety concerns during the IPL which is a tournament with so much money put into the organisation, you are no longer able to participate in the tournament. Basically they expect you to trust them when it comes to safety and Smith, Warne and Watson did, and they came back with smiles and a lot of money.

  4. Yes I've seen in the news about bomb went off in some part of India.... for some reason it wasn't declare as serious in safety issue (in regards to cricket that is)....  I dont think any aussie players would go but it still depend on how serious it is... australia have a panel that would assess how serious the situation is and players would look into it if it's too risky for them or not then decide if they should go or not....

  5. It is simply illogical question. And as for bombs, masterminds have been arrested.you are seeming to be taking bomb issue as a serious joke. With such type of questions, you are hurting sentiments of families of victims who have died in bomb blasts.i thought you were good user but I was wrong. You are worse than OZ as he doesn't take deaths of people as a example for money-hungry cricketers.

  6. yes if they only want money and don't thing about anything else

  7. Yes they will play.

Indian soldiers r capable 2 secure India from such acts.

Indian security forces r better than Pak.

  8. No, I can't see anyone with a modicum of sense going there, but I don't think that would happen in India. They seem to have little trouble in that area. All of our players are millionaires, so why would they risk their lives for a few dollars more?
