My mickey mouse platy has a pink thing behind its stomach can someone tell me what it is ?

it may be a gravid spot. the gravid spot may be either black or a more reddish pink depending on the way the baby fry are facing.

Do you maybe have a picture that I can see? It sounds like a tumor though. If your platy is a female, she could be pregant. The gravid spot will always turn a different color.
