  1. You could be making your mouth too tight on the mouthpiece. Just take a deep breath, relax your mouth around the mouthpiece, and be sure no air comes out when you play. You could also try practicing your notes going down chromatically. Start on 4th line D down to Db, then C,B, Bb,A, Ab,G, Gb,F,E,Eb, to D under the staff. It's okay if you can't play all of the notes yet. That's what practice is for.

  2. It could be simply how your mouth is positioned on the reed and mouthpiece.

See if your parents will sign you up for music lessons somewhere.

  3. It could be your saxophone or the position of your reed or mouth on the mouthpiece.

Check to see of the lower holes on the saxophone are being fully covered, Even if a little air escapes it could make your sax squeaky.

Try putting your reed a bit higher on the mouthpiece and try making your mouth cover the whole mouth piece.

    Don't give up!

  4. Ask your teacher for help--stay after school or skip lunch to come in for some extra individual attention.  He or she should be happy to help you out and will probably be excited that you've taken enough interest in playing to ask. It's hard for a teacher to diagnose problems that a specific student is having when everyone in the band is playing at the same time (and it's even harder to tell what is going wrong just from what you're saying online--someone needs to see and hear you playing).  If you get some one-on-one help your teacher might be able to see what is going on with either you or your instrument that is making your notes squeak.  Don't be afraid to tell someone when you can't seem to do something on your own.
