what happens if i did not sign one when i move into a new flat

can the landlord say there was a load of stuff in the flat CAN HE LIE or am i in the good position?

Take pictures of everything when you leave. - and maybe use a current newspaper to prove these were after you moved out, and not before you moved in.

Then you'll have proof of the condition of the place.

.    Next time you will videotape your movein and moveout days with a copy of the day's newspaper in the scene.  Then there will be no arguing.When you pay Sept 1st rent, fill one out and hand it to the landlord.

Hopefully you took pictures at move in.

If you go to court he has to prove damage, you have to prove it wasn't you.
