IPOD TOUCH HeLP!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!?

Everytime I turn on my ipod touch, it goes right to recovery mode. When I go to plug in my ipod touch in the computer, I hear the noise that it connects to the computer, but it doesn't show up anywhere (plus iTunes). I can't do anything! PLEASE HELP ME!!! thanks.

First of all, don't panic, it's alright :P. This happened to me when I: 1) Jailbroke it and an application accidently screwed it up and 2) I was watching a movie and suddenly it froze up. Both seemed to have resulted in a crash or error in the firmware.

First completely turn off your iPod touch and unhook it from your computer. Then, hold the home button while connecting it to the computer again via USB. You should see the Apple logo on the iPod touch and a popup on your computer telling you it found an iPod in recovery mode. Follow the steps on the computer to completely restore the firmware on your iPod. This will, by the way, completely erase your iPod touch (music, photos, movies etc.). If this doesn't work, keep repeating these steps 2~3 times. If it still doesn't work, call the Apple Service Care.
