Hi, I've had my iPod Touch for about two weeks now, and whenever I connect it to my computer, it shows up in my iTunes, and for about 1-2 seconds it will say "sync in progress" but it goes away immediately, and nothing is copied to my iPod. What can I do to fix this?

  1. Reinstall your iTunes program.

  2. If there is no syncing taking place then chances are then everything is already synced into your ipod.

If you have a blank ipod and it is not syncing try restarting your ipod, hold the hold button (the small button on top) and then the home button (the circle button) the restart will take place when the screen turns on and off. If that doesnt work then i would try restoring. (Open itunes, plug your ipod in, click "your ipod name", click the button that says restore. ) If that doesnt work make an appointment at an apple store and get them to look at it. It may be a hardware error. (OH and also make that your automatic sync button is on in itunes under "your ipod name". If its on manual then you have to drag the files onto your ipod. Good Luck

  3. I know a professional iPod Transfer program. It will help you transfer songs, movies, photos from iPod to iPod, iTunes to iPod, iPod to computer local disk. And its step by step guide is also helpful.

  4. go to your control panel and delete your itunes. then go to www.itunes.com and download the free itunes. there should be a link on the main page. download it, and all of your music will transfer to your new itunes download. hope this helped :]

  5. when you open up your itunes with the ipod connected make sure you can see the ipod stats. then make sure the sync only checked songs and videos has been checked. and that should do the trick
