IPod touch question (10 points)?

I have had an iPod touch for a year now. I have a Mac and a iHome. I have been charging and syncing from the Mac and charging on the iHome. All of a sudden two weeks ago, my iPod would not sync on my Mac, but it would charge. Then it won't charge on my iHome. Any ideas? Please help. 10 points Thanks a bunch!

you could try updating your software and hardware

or, there could be something wrong with the plugs

if it doesnt work after a few days you could try sending it in if your warranty is still in effect. when mine got messed up i sent it in and they gave me a brand new one.
