since i was a kid i had really severe pain in my knees to where i cant stand or really move then it was called growing pains now that i'm older its more severe to where i just cry and try to maybe take a hot bath, but really nothing ever works so i went to the doctors yesterday and she says its rls (restless leg syndrome) but after reading on rls i really dont have any of these symptoms, like the only way you get releef with the pain is to always be doing something, but i dont feel that so rls is something to do with your legs mine is my knees and some parts of my leg but really my knees and i mean iam in some real pain at times anyway i dont think its rls. if anyone out there can help and tell me what they think i would be greatfull thanks..

  1. It sounds like something else might be going on.  Some of this pain sounds like it could be related to a type of arthritis that affects the immune system called rheumatoid arthritis (this is just an example only).

I would recommend getting another opinion, preferably from someone that does not share the same office of the doctor that you currently go to for care, to see what they think could be going on.
