ISO image? and daemon tools?

Question

I download the sims 2 game from mininova, and I download daemon tools.

I read a lot about having to convert something to ISO such that daemon tools can read it? And I know you can convert something to ISO using magic ISO/CD burner XP ?

Can someone just explain the whole process to me? how to install?

ISO, is basically an Image file.

Aka, not an executeable file.

However, if an ISO file is burned CORRECTLY to a CD then yes it can become executeable and install a program off it.

Ive done this before, and I just used Nero to burn my ISO file onto a CD to then install the thing I wanted.

Basically, here's the process:

Download/Install Nero.

Open up ISO file burning tab in Nero.

Select file and burn it to a BLANK CD.

Then, insert CD and install your application.

Then, yay :)
