ISP Notification?

I have a siemens 4200 speedstream and my isp is TPG it was bigpond so we cancelled bigpond.When i go into the modem IP adress i do anything that the isp providers tell me to do but when i go to connect it says Can Not connect.

So i made a new connect it Controll Panel/Network conections and i called it TPG my passweord and my username!!! And it Works!!!! But its not my speed!! that it was sopose to go!!! its going 1500kbps and its surpose to 24000kbps Can anyone help mE!!!!!!

You may have to re-read the fine print 24000kbps is only the max. speed that you could get. However depend on the loading and distance between you and the exchange, you may have the speed much much lowering than the adv. Normally, you only can have 24000kbps if you live next to the exchange.

The best way to do is to call them, if you are not satisfied with their answer, you can always complaint it to the consumer council.
