I added a bunch of album art to my iTunes (For covers it couldn't get automatically, etc) but now I can't get those to transfer onto my iTunes. I tried just pressing sync, but that didn't do the trick. any ideas?

  1. Okay. right click the song u want... then go to artwork tab... then add... then click ur photo... then press sync.

    Good luck!

  2. download the album art again and synch, it should work.. but before transferring them play them to make sure they work because you could have downloaded unlicensed copies of them or something.

  3. go into settings and make sure you have the option checked that allows artwork to be displayed on your iPod

CORRECTION: Plug in your iPod and select it on the left hand sub-list. in the window where the playlist would normally be click on the tab on the top called Music. check the option that allows album artwork.

  4. try downloading it again

  5. Adding artwork to songs and other items

Music and video you buy from the iTunes Store comes with its own artwork. You can add your own artwork to songs and other items in your library.

You can add many popular types of still-image files, including JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, and Photoshop. You must convert WAV files to another format before you can add artwork.

Artwork appears in the artwork viewer (in the lower-left corner of the iTunes window) when the item is selected or playing. To display the artwork viewer, choose View > Show Artwork or click this button:

Here are ways to add artwork to songs:

    ■ To add artwork to one item, select an item in your iTunes library and drag the art file file to the artwork viewer. (You can also copy and paste.)

    ■ To add artwork to multiple items, select an item, choose File > Get Info, and click Artwork. To add art to the selected item, click Add (or drag the art file from your desktop to the artwork box). Click Next to add artwork to the next item.

    ■ To add the same artwork to multiple items, hold down the Command key as you click each item, choose File > Get Info, click Artwork, and drag the art file to the artwork box.

    ■ To add more than one piece of art to a song, drag more than one image to the same artwork box.

    ■ To retrieve album artwork for songs in your library, select the songs and choose Advanced > Get Album Artwork. The song must be available in the iTunes Store.

    ■ To have iTunes automatically download album artwork when you import a CD or add songs with missing artwork, choose Edit > Preferences, click General, and select the option to download album artwork.

  6. First you need to Copy the album art from the internet or were ever you have it.

Then, u Play the song and you will see that there is no album cover where it usually shows it.

In this space just right click and you will see paste, click.

Make sure you do this on the songs that are already on your iPod. It makes things a lot easier.
