What kind of tea is used to make iced tea you have in restaurants? i really need to know!

    When i was in Wal-mart picking up my check today i seen lipton came out with a new tea called Lipton iced tea


  2. Most iced tea is still of the old plain jane orange pekoe variety, however, the new trend in iced teas is green iced tea.

  5. Black tea, in a general sense. There is a special type of tea bag that is used for iced tea, so that it does not cloud up after chilling. (Note: cloudy iced tea is perfectly fine and tastes normal, it just doesn't look as attractive a transparent tea.

  6. Lipton tea is what most use you can buy it at most of the stores and if you can make it and leave it out side for a little bit it makes it taste better

  7. Lipton has a special 'iced-tea' blend that works pretty good.

    I think that the restaurants use some type of instant tea powder since they usually buy all their stuff in bulk from large institutional food distributors.
